Terms of service
June 25, 2026
These terms govern your use of the 1729labs.ai website, the 1729 application at app.1729labs.ai, and any engagement with 1729 AI Labs ("Company," "we"). Together, these are the "Services." By using the Services, you agree to these terms.
Site use
The Site is provided for informational purposes. You may access, read, and link to it for lawful purposes. You may not scrape, reproduce, or redistribute substantial portions of the content without written permission.
Engagements
When you request a briefing and we agree to proceed, the specific terms of any engagement — scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing, IP ownership, and acceptance criteria — are governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties. These Terms of Service do not constitute an offer to provide services and do not bind either party to an engagement.
Accounts and access
The application is available by invitation only. You may access it only with credentials we issue to you or your organization, and you agree to keep those credentials secure and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. If you accept these terms on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms and to any order, workspace, usage, or credit purchase.
Customer content and work product
You retain ownership of the project materials, requirements, files, prompts, data, feedback, and other content you submit to the application. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, transform, and display that content to provide and support the Services. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, application outputs and generated artifacts for your workspace are for your organization's internal use.
Billing
During launch, access and billing are invite-managed by 1729 AI Labs. Pricing is usage-based: your organization pays for the usage it incurs. Any applicable usage and credit fees are shown in the application, in Stripe checkout, or in a separate written order or agreement. Payments, when enabled, may be processed by Stripe; by paying through Stripe you also agree to the terms Stripe presents at checkout. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Questions about usage, credits, invoices, payments, or billing changes should be sent to billing@1729labs.ai.
Credits and refunds
Where usage credits or other prepaid amounts are offered, the applicable purchase and refund terms will be shown in the application, in Stripe checkout, or in the relevant written order. Except where required by law or stated in writing, fees already paid are non-refundable, and unused credits are not refunded. We may suspend or end access for non-payment, security risk, or breach of these terms.
Service notices
We may send account, billing, security, product, and operational notices by email, in the application, or through other reasonable means. Operational notices may come from support@1729labs.ai.
Intellectual property
All content on the website and application, including text, graphics, code, interface elements, templates, systems, and methods, is owned by or licensed to 1729 AI Labs. The "1729 AI Labs" name and mark are proprietary. Nothing in these terms grants you a license to use our marks or content except as needed to use the Services.
Work product ownership
For any separate engagement entered into, the relevant written agreement governs IP ownership of deliverables. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you own the software we build for you upon full payment; we retain no license to it.
No warranties
The Services are provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, availability, security, or fitness for purpose of any content, output, artifact, or feature. Information about services, timelines, and outcomes on the website or in the application is illustrative and not a guarantee.
The Services use artificial intelligence and machine learning models to generate software code, architecture, and other artifacts ("Outputs"). You acknowledge that Outputs may contain errors, bugs, or inconsistencies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all Outputs in a secure non-production environment before deploying or relying on them. We are not liable for any damages, security vulnerabilities, or system failures resulting from your deployment of AI-generated Outputs.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 1729 AI Labs from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these terms, or any customer content you upload to the application.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 1729 AI Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid us for the Services giving rise to the claim in the three months before the event giving rise to liability.
Third-party links
The Services may link to external sites or integrate with third-party providers. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of third-party sites or services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these terms will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top or by giving notice through the Services. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance.
